Delaware Water Gap
As the Delaware River flows through the Appalachian Mountains in the northeast Poconos, it creates a craggy, gaping valley in the mountains. Spanning 40 mi (64.4 km) from Milford to Stroudsburg, the Water Gap and the surrounding forest covers more than 70,000 acres (28,328 ha).

Found on the boarder between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Kittatinny Ridge, or the Endless Mountain, features scenic hiking trails that overlook quiet lakes, Lenape dwellings and the Delaware Water Gap. Hikes range from an easy day hike to a 3-day, 28-mile Appalachian Trail hike.
